RECIPE: SUPER GREEN BREAKFAST JUICE


This recipe is a fantastic way to boost your intake of fruit and vegetables, improving overall health and brightening the skin.  Cucumber and apple are amazing skin-purifiers helping to maintain hydration levels and calm any inflammation making it great during breakouts and for acne sufferers.  I adore Mangoes at the minute too which are enriched with antioxidants and Vitamin E protecting the skin from outside aggressors and improving cell rejuvenation and repair.

GATHER TOGETHER:

Half a cucumber
Two handfuls of baby leaf spinach
Half a mango
A small apple
Juice of half a lemon
Half a cup of water 

THEN: Blend it in a blender and enjoy!  That's it!

*WHY I DON'T ADD FRUIT JUICE: fruit juice may be tasty and convenient but I would always advise using the whole fruit instead if you possibly can.  The whole fruit, as well as containing loads of health boosting vitamins and minerals, contains soluable fibre which helps to lower cholesterol, maintain blood sugar levels and keep you feeling full: ideal if you are trying to loose weight or have any health issues.
