The lovely folk at Om Yoga Magazine sent me a batch of Green Superfood a while back and having taken it every other day for the past wee while, I have to say, I'm impressed.
What is it? It's basically a powder made up from a spectrum of alkalizing green superfoods including spirnula, barley grass and alfalfa sprouts; antioxidant rich fruits and is a fantastic way of upping your fruit and veggie intake when travelling, feeling tired or simple having one of those days when the best food choices simply aren't to hand (we all have them, right, especially around Christmas). One serving gives a whopping 7 - 9 servings of fruit and vegetables and as it also contains pro and pre biotics and fibre, it's also a fantastic digestive aid making sure you get the most from your food and easing any (always) unwanted bloating.
For the past few weeks I have been simply mixing one small sachet of Green Superfood with a smoothie most mornings and can absolutely say, I can really notice when I haven't taken it. The results are that good!
