In our house books are a big thing - shelf upon shelf full of them and a fear of anything digital taking their place.
Here are our current bedtime faves...
HIDE & SEEK PIG by Julia Donaldson- From the writer of The Gruffalo, this is a brilliant rhyming, lift flap book about all of the Animals of Acorn Wood going on an adventure to find Hen's hiding place. After only a few times through Eva was already eager to lift the flaps which - I can say from experience - are sturdy to say the least!
HOW TO HIDE A LION by Helen Stephens - I cannot tell you how much I love the look of this book! The illustrations are an absolute dream and it's whimsical tale about a small girl who tries to hide a Lion after he goes to town to buy a hat is lovely for littles and parents too.
THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR by Eric Carle - a classic that really doesn't need any form of introduction. It's brilliant - buy it!
