I often take our small rural road for granted as I drive up and down it
generally preoccupied with things I have to do, housework that is
waiting for me and what we might eat for tea. I think that's why I do
so love my strolls along it with our dog Poppy giving me time to
appreciate how the seasons shape our landscape and the tangiable changes
that can be seen everyday. Today it was cold, skeletal and incredibly
beautiful in the cold winter light.
