REVIEW: TRILOGY CERTIFIED ORGANIC ROSEHIP OIL

I must admit, I was a little reeled in by the Rosehip Oil hype that started a about a year ago when Australian model Miranda Kerr announced she used it in her nightly skincare routine.

I had been looking for a supplementary product to boost my skin through early spring and was especially drawn to the claims that a natural and pure product could have such a great effect in your skin .

I bought myself a bottle of Trilogy Certified Organic Pure Rosehip Oil* and started using it nightly in addition to my usual lotions and potions.

What's Rosehip Oil?
Rosehip Oil stems from the Rosa Mosqueta plant in Chile where it's grows at high altitude in a pure, pollutant free environment. It has been used by the indigenous folks for hundreds of years to replenish skin yet only recently scientifically validated for its skin healing properties.

What's all the fuss about?
Rosehip Oil is high in omega 3,6 & 9 delivering essential fatty acids to the skin cells which can reduce brown spots and scarring and deeply moisturise the skin,  It also host a plethora of vitamins including Vitamin C to detoxify, rejuvenate and brighten.

The results!
Two words: BUY IT!

It isn't very often that a product takes me wholly by surprise but thus one totally did!

Within about 3 uses this oil had increased moisture levels in my skin and I could see a reduction in dehydration lines over my cheek area that looked plumper and smoother.  The texture of my skin was so much better and I found that I needed less day cream to keep my skin conditioned.  It leaves a lovely brightness to the skin meaning less make-up too!

The great thing I found about this product however is that it is complexity universal. I have ended up using it not only on my face but also on my decollete, elbows and shins to do away with any dryness.

Do be aware however, Rosehip Oil has a short self life so I would recommend only buying the small 20ml size.  As much a I love this product I would never get through a larger bottle in time.
