FEATURED - THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR, ERIC CARLE

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle has become a mainstay classic over the past 40 years and just as I remember having it read to me as a 7 year old in Year 2 (P3) so too do my own children relish the story of the tiny caterpillar who eats and eats and eats until his seemingly magical transformation into a butterfly takes place.

Filled with beautiful artwork, this book isn't only a storybook but is perfect for wider learning too introducing concepts such as days of the week, food and nutrition, life cycles and habitats.

Take a look below for some great resources centered around this wonderful book.
